The drain hole cover assembly has a frame (4) defining an access opening (10) to receive a cover (6) and with a hinge knuckle (18) on the frame. The knuckle has a pivot surface (38) and a transverse opening (40). The cover has a peripheral seal (52) in a groove (50) in inner face of the knuckle to seal off the inner face from the outer.
