<p>A method for producing a formed article containing a fixed heavy metal which comprises crushing a waste containing a heavy metal, adding slaked lime to the product while adjusting the water content thereof, to prepare a raw material for forming, forming the material by pressing, and then, subjecting the formed product to carbonation. In some embodiments, a water-repelling agent and/or a chemical for accelerating the fixation of a heavy metal are added to the raw material for forming, and/or the formed product is aged in a carbonic acid atmosphere to forcedly carbonate it.</p> |
