PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive that does not cause rusting to materials to be bonded such as a steel plate, has high adhesive strength and requires a little work and cost in bonding the materials to be bonded and a method of bonding. SOLUTION: The epoxy adhesive composition for structures is manufactured by homogeneously mixing by agitation 100 pts.wt. epoxy resin, 8 pts.wt. dicyandiamide, 30 pts.wt. core/shell type acrylic particle, 50 pts.wt. silica powder having an average diameter of 15μm, and 0.5 pts.wt. thermally expanding balloon in a kneader at room temperature. The adhesive composition is applied to one side of a steel plate 3 from one end to the other in the longitudinal direction in the form of beads with 5ϕ. The plate 3 is bonded to a steel plate 1 in the center. The plates are spot-welded at 3 positions. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
