<p>The invention relates to a rubber tyred gantry container crane with a supercapacitor. The crane includes a hoisting mechanism, a little trolley mechanism and a big trolley one. A three-phase AC power generated from a diesel motor group is converted to DC power by means of a rectifier of the AC transducer, subsequently, by means of the transducer, the converted DC power is also converted to the AC power whose frequency and voltage can be controlled. The latter is used for driving the hoisting mechanism, the little trolley mechanism or the big trolley one. It is parallel connection between the supercapacitor and the DC bus, and the scope of the changing voltage is detected with the DC bus. When the voltage is increasing, the supercapacitor is charged, otherwise the supercapacitor is discharged. With the supercapacitor being discharged continuously, the end voltage of the supercapacitor goes down, and the voltage of the DC bus drops. When it is detected that the voltage of the DC bus is lower than the voltage generated from the diesel motor group, the diesel motor group begins to supply power to the circuit. When the operating mechanism is in the state of regenerative feedback, the electric energy of the mechanism is fed back to the DC bus so that the supercapacitor can absorb the electric energy continuously. It is provided in the invention that the large capacity supercapacitor is charged and discharged in a short period, i.e. discharged quickly when hoisting and charged quickly when falling. As a result, the supercapacitor can absorb energy and facilitate energy-saving and environmental conservation.</p> |
