PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handloom designed to simply carry out assembling and disassembling, weave a cloth in a good finish and readily visually observe and confirm even the finish. SOLUTION: The handloom is obtained as follows. An Omaki (a warp beam) 3 and a Kencho (a back beam) 4 are mounted on one end side on a bed 1 having a flat base to mount a Munagi (a breast beam) 5 and a Nunomaki (a cloth beam) 6 on the other end side on the bed 1. A heddle frame body 10 is arranged on the side of the Kencho 4 and a reed body 20 is arranged on the side of the Munagi 5 on the bed 1. A warp yarn group delivered from the side of the Omaki 3 is divided into one warp yarn group and the other warp yarn group with a pair of heddle frames 11 and 12. The warp yarn groups are alternately vertically moved. A weft yarn 61 is passed through a shed between both the warp yarn groups to weave the cloth composed of the weft yarn 61 and warp yarns by beating the reed body 20 to the side of the Munagi 5 and wind the woven cloth with the Nunomaki 6. The reed body 20 has reed supporting pieces 21 provided with a lateral face shape formed into a nearly dogleg shape protruded to the side of the frame body 10 and rotatably supported with the bench 1 and a reed part 22 having both sides of the upper parts rotatably supported with the tops of the pieces 21 and the lower side kept in a hung state. The beating of the weft yarn 61 to the side of the Munagi 5 is carried out while keeping the reed part 22 in a normally vertical state. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
