<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method by which an inexpensive gas diffusion electrode can be produced by shortening a production process. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a gas diffusion electrode is characterized in that fluid dispersion for a gas diffusion electrode having a solid content concentration of 30 to 60% and a viscosity of 20 to 100 mPa s is used . At this time, it is preferable that the fluid dispersion for the gas diffusion electrode is applied, impregnated or sprayed so as to be a film shape.
