DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF CUMULATIVE ACCESS COUNT OF ITEM, COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for prediction of a cumulative access count of an item that can obtain a predicted cumulative access count of an item even just when it becomes accessible.

SOLUTION: An information accumulation part 13 of an information providing server 1 retrieves a list including the ID of an item as a prediction target from a correlated item table 131 in the information accumulation part 13. An information calculation part 12 extracts IDs other than the ID of the prediction target item from the retrieved list. The information accumulation part 13 extracts cumulative access counts corresponding to the extracted IDs as predicted values from an access history table 132 in the information accumulation part 13. The predicted cumulative access counts of the item can be automatically obtained.
