PURPOSE: A drive shaft assembly of a vehicle is provided to extend the life span of the joint, and to prevent deterioration by cooling the joint actively corresponding to rotational force of a drive shaft through Peltier effect. CONSTITUTION: A drive shaft assembly of a vehicle is composed of a drive shaft(54) installed between a differential(52) distributing driving force of the engine according to load of left and right wheels(50) and the wheels to transmit driving force of the engine to the wheels; a joint(60) connecting ends of the drive shaft to the differential or the driving wheel; and a cooling unit(70) installed in the joint to cool the joint through Peltier effect. The cooling unit has a heat absorbing plate(72) attached to the outside of the joint to receive heat from the joint, a heating plate(74) spaced from the heat absorbing plate outside the joint, a thermoelectric module(76) bonded between the heat absorbing plate and the heating plate, and a power supply unit(80) supplying power to stream current to the thermoelectric module from the heat absorbing plate for the heating plate.
