<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new type deodorant and a deodorizing method using feedstuff additive. <P>SOLUTION: The deodorant is characterized in that a culture solution, which is formed by culturing a microorganism contained in the feedstuff additive mixed with the feedstuff and given to livestock for reducing malodor of excrement of the livestock, is contained as an active component. Practically, the microorganism is one or more kinds selected from Bacillus licheniformis SIID1777-4b (FERM P-18990), Bacillus group bacterium SIID1777-2b (FERM P-19049), Bacillus group bacterium SIID1777-3b (FERRM P-19050), Bacillus group bacterium SIID1777-5b (FERM P-19051) and Bacillus group bacterium SIID1777-6b (FERM P-19052). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
