PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous fluororesin film having hydrophilicity and excellent oxidation resistance. SOLUTION: This porous film is obtained by contacting a hydrophobic porous film made of a fluororesin to at least an oxidizing agent for generating a hydroxyl radical and/or a sulfate ion radical, so as to make the film hydrophilic. Since it has a carbon skeleton that is not excessively exposed, has a proper level of fluorine left and has a proper level of oxygen introduced, it has hydrophilicity and excellent oxidation resistance, and accordingly, can be particularly favorably used for water treatment. Hydrophilicity can be favorably provided in a short time by using a peroxodisulfate as the oxidizing agent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
