PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust control valve in which a noise reduction request required in low speed revolution of an engine and a back pressure reduction request required in high speed revolution of the engine are accomplished at the same time, without radially enlarging a valve seat part. SOLUTION: A spindle 3 for pivoting a valve element 2 is spaced from a position of a seat face 12 by a predetermined distance L, a spindle 5 for pivoting a coil part 41 of a coil spring 4 is disposed upstream of a shaft center of the spindle 3 for pivoting the valve element 3 and at a position identical with the position of the seal face 12 or downstream of the seat face 12, and urging force of the coil spring 4 to the valve element 4 acts on a position inside of the seat face 12.
