PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide waste treatment equipment that can effectively control dioxin generation by uniformizing levels for charging waste into a furnace and temperature inside the furnace. SOLUTION: This waste treatment equipment 1 is provided with throw-in ports 3a, 3b for throwing general waste and industrial waste, and a melting furnace 2 that melts the waste thrown from the throw-in ports 3a, 3b at high temperature and treats the waste as high-temperature melt of slag and metal. On the upper part 5 of a furnace body of the melting furnace 2, at least two independent throw-in ports 3a, 3b are arranged.
