The arrangement has a manual steering control element, a servo valve connected to the control element, whose mutually rotatable control parts are drive coupled by a spring arrangement tending to hold them in a normal relative position, and an arrangement for influencing relative rotation of the control parts. The arrangement can increase the relative rotation between the control parts caused by the manual control element depending on a parameter.
