FLAT DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A flat display device is provided to prevent the data from being recorded on the memory by making the data enable signal low when the input data is larger than the reference signal. CONSTITUTION: A flat display device includes a display module, an interface board and a detector(610). The display module is provided with a plurality of pixels, a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of data lines, a gate driving unit and a memory connected to the gate lines to record the data from outside. The interface board generates a plurality of second control signals required for controlling the data based on the data from outside and the first control signals and supplies the generated second signals to the display module together with the data. The flat display device further includes a detector for comparing the size of the memory with the data and supplying the changed status of the second control signals to the display panel in response to the comparison result.
