HEATING-COOKING DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A heating-cooking device with a heater and a control method thereof are provided to cook foods regard to the remaining heat of the heater in a cavity and to optimally cook the foods to the accumulative temperature of the cavity in a cooking chamber instead of cooking time even if continuously cooking the foods. CONSTITUTION: A heating-cooking device comprises heaters(11,12) for heating foods put in a cooking chamber; a switching unit(13) for switching electrical coupling of a power unit and the heater; a temperature detecting unit(50) for detecting the temperature of a cavity in the cooking chamber; and a control unit(30) for controlling the switching unit based on the detected temperature of the cavity. The control unit controls the switching unit to stop the heater if the accumulative temperature of the cavity detected by the temperature detecting unit at the predetermined intervals reaches a pre-set temperature.
