<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a servo writer for writing a servo signal in a magnetic tape hardly recording/reproducing data eroneously. <P>SOLUTION: In the servo writer 10, a servo signal is written in a magnetic tape MT, which is sent out by a sending out reel 12 provided at an upstream side of a write-in head 30 and is wound up by a take-up reel 13 provided at a downstream side of the write-in head 30. The writer is provided with a first tension detecting device 40 detecting tension of the magnetic tape MT sliding to the write-in head 30 and a first capstan roller control device 45 controlling tension of the magnetic tape MT based on tension detected by this first tension detecting device 40, and a low pass filter 45b attenuating high frequency components of a signal of inputted tension is provided in the first capstan roller control device 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
