The tile cutter has a frame with a cutting table (3) defining a longitudinal slot followed by a cutting blade mounted on a carriage (5) moving above the slot and operated by a handle. A part of the frame forms a cutting edge extending to the exterior of the edge of the table. The frame can have a stop to limit the movement of the cutter.
