PURPOSE: A communication service method and system is provided to visually implement an avatar of other user, set by a user, as well as an avatar of the user himself or herself on a screen of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. An avatar registration request is received from a terminal of a user, and avatar selection data is transmitted(S330). The avatar data selected by the user is received and stored(S332-S336). The stored avatar data is transmitted to a screen of a user terminal. A dual avatar selection request for a specific user is received from the user terminal. The dual avatar data is transmitted to the screen of the user terminal.
