PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of an optical component 11, composed of a holder 1 having a positioning part 4 for an optical element 2, by greatly reducing residual stress. SOLUTION: The optical component 11 constituted by joining the optical element 2 which passes or receives light with the holder 1 through a joining material 3 and the holder 1 is provided with the positioning member 4 which abuts against the optical element 2 without coming into contact with the joining material 3.
