<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording/reproducing method of a write-once/read many-times optical recording medium for use in a solid-state semiconductor laser, which can record on a dye sensitized optical recording medium at high linear speed and reproduce with small jitter without data errors while maintaining the asymmetry and obtain excellent wave forms. <P>SOLUTION: At least a recording layer mainly containing organic dye is made on a base plate having guide grooves for high frequency wobbling, and multi-pulse recording light is radiated to this recording layer to form the spaces in the pulse train with the light amount of 0.1mW or less. Non-recorded spaces are formed between the marks with the light amount 0.7 to 1.7 times the reproducing light amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
