PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a buffer effect which absorbs vibrations in the vertical direction and rockings in the periphery of a perpendicularity and restoring force by elasticity, and to efficiently prevent the breaking of a building even when these vibrations are generated excessively and impulsively. SOLUTION: A connecting reinforcing metal fitting for building earthquake resistance has a first metal fitting 2 with abutting sections 5 installed through buffer members 4 composed of an elastic body at both ends so as to be fixed and arranged in an oblique piece shape extensively over a section between mutual crossing building structural materials (P1 and P2) and the second metal fitting 3, in which an arcuate section 6 in which an intermediate section is curved outwards so as to be connected in an arcuate shape at both ends of the first metal fitting 2 is formed and which is fixed onto the structural materials (P1 and P2) together with the first metal fitting 2. Sills P1 and P2 placed on a foundation P are used as the structural materials (P1 and P2), and the abutting sections 5 at both ends of each of the first metal fitting 2 and the second metal fitting 3 are superposed mutually and fixed onto the sills P1 and P2 or the like by tapping screws 11 such as coach bolts.
