PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily and smoothly supply a necessary and constant quantity of ink and to immediately and smoothly remove a gas mixed in an ink supply system when the ink is intermittently supplied through a separable connection section without complicating a structure and a mechanism. SOLUTION: A first ink tank 51 and a second ink tank 125 are separably connected with a supply section 31 and the connection section 11. Two communication paths communicating between both of the ink tanks 51, 125 are formed of pipes 12, 13. A gas in the first ink tank 125 is discharged to the first ink tank 51 through one of the communication paths and ink in the ink tank 51 is supplied to the second ink tank 125 through the other communication path.
