The display indicator (1)has at least one elongated frame part (2) the upper side of which is asymmetrical with the middle lengthwise axis of the frame part. The under sides of the two lengthwise edges of the frame-part each have a recess running the length of he frame part and in the form of a step gripping over the display. An engaging element (12)fitting into a cavity on the underside of the frame parts is fixed by a fixing element (15) with a groove (16).
