The gift box is formed from a cardboard or polypropylene blank including three main rectangles next to each other with folds between them that allow the outer rectangles to be folded upwards. Isosceles triangles are formed at the ends of the main rectangles and smaller right angle triangles are formed next to each isosceles triangle. The folds between the isosceles triangles and the right angle triangles are opposite to the folds between the rectangles. The folds can be pinched by a user to erect the box, with outer bands helping to reinforce the box.
