<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sheet setting function to an image reading part, sheet extracting function from an image forming part and inputting operability of operating information to an apparatus by a user by lowering the height of the apparatus itself without enlarging the installation space. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus 90 is provided with: the image forming part 91 ejecting the sheet to a face down tray 6a installed in a top part; the image reading part 92 installed above the face down tray and reading the image of an original on which the image is formed; an operating part 21 installed this side of the image reading part and also in the upstream side in the sheet ejecting direction of the face down tray and operating the image forming part and the image reading part; an operating part circuit substrate 22 installed below the operating part 21 inside the apparatus; a main body control circuit substrate 23 installed this side of the inner part of the apparatus and below the operating part 21; and an electric supply cable 25 installed this side of the inner part of the apparatus and electrically connecting the two substrates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
