METHOD FOR MONITORING AND SETTING COMMAND PROCESSING TIME OF MAGNETIC DISK CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the setting of time cannot be changed in accordance with a case for attaching importance to average performance by transmitting an end response and a case for attaching importance to command response time in an untransmitted state of an end response because there is no priority in all write instructions and read instructions at the command performance of a magnetic disk control device under conventional technology and maximum time for retrial at the occurrence of an error is fixed. SOLUTION: Processing monitoring time for writing and processing monitoring time for reading can be independently set by setting a mode or instructing a command in the magnetic disk control device so that command processing monitoring time can be switched in each use/purpose.
