PURPOSE: A method and a device for managing the output of a security document are provided to prevent the security document from being distributed by making a writer of the security document manage the output of the security document. CONSTITUTION: A security setting part(80) sets security to a document written by the writer and output the security set document. An output request checker(82) checks that the output of the written document is requested, and outputs a checking result as a control signal. In response to the control signal, a document output part(84) outputs the document by matching with a security level inputted from the security setting part and informs the writer of the information for a person outputting the document. The security setting part comprises a security level setting device(100) and a writer information inserter(102).
