PAEL RECEPTOR, CELLS AND ANIMAL EXPRESSING PAEL RECEPTOR AND METHOD OF SCREENING REMEDY FOR PARKINSON'S DISEASE

A human Pael receptor for screening remedies for Parkinson's disease, is new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) animals cells for similar drug screening having a DNA that encodes a foreign human Pael receptor or a DNA that carries its variant integrated; (2) non-human mammals having a DNA carrying the DNA integrated; (3) cells isolated from the mammals; (4) screening remedies for Parkinson's disease by contacting a candidate compound with the human Pael receptor or the animal cells, or by administering it into the non-human mammals, with the amount of Pael receptor in the cells in such animals as indication; (5) probes containing the whole or a part of the DNA encoding the human Pael receptor for detecting risk factor for onset of Parkinson's disease; (6) detecting risk factor for onset of Parkinson's disease by using the probes; and (7) an antibody recognizing the Pael receptor by reacting with such receptor but not with the Pael receptor homolog of ETBR-LP-2.
