PURPOSE: A construction method for a cross beam of a pier is provided to prevent traffic obstruction, to heighten the safety on works, to shorten a period of construction and to cut down the construction costs. CONSTITUTION: The construction method for a cross beam of a pier comprises the steps of: installing one end of a cross beam(20) longitudinally on the top of pier posts(11,12) to be rotated at the appointed angle by a rotary unit(30), installing a balance bar(21) on the backside of the cross beam(20), and rotating the other end of the cross beam(20) to be located on the pier posts(11,12) of the opposite side, then fixing.
