PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus and a communication method by which an opposite communication apparatus can perform a transmission/reception processing in the case of performing a high speed packet communication.

SOLUTION: In the communication apparatus 100, the scheduling of an incoming line and an outgoing line is adjusted soas to make allocation timings of the incoming line and the outgoing line different from each other, so that a transmission processing and a reception processing in the opposite communication apparatus are prevented from being simultaneously performed. Thus the transmitting/receiving operations in the opposite communication apparatus are performed smoothly.
