摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a transport robot which can avoid collisions and continue pursuing when it changes its direction, even if there is an obstacle on its side. SOLUTION: The transport robot recognizes and pursues a transporter while keeping a prescribed distance. In addition, the transport robot is provided with a detecting means, which is installed in the transport robot and detects the transporter and the obstacle existing in the surroundings, a travelling means, and a travelling control means which controls the traveling means. The detecting means determines a distance for detecting the obstacle according to an angle at which the transport robot rotates, according to the movement of the transporter.
