PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum blood collecting tube having a structure wherein a blood leak preventing cap made of rubber and covering a seal plug side piercing needle is prevented from being compressed too strongly even when the bottom of the tube body of the tube is pushed on the occasion of blood collection. SOLUTION: An outer diameter expansion part 5 for expression of identification of a person from whom blood is collected is provided at an outer peripheral position near the opening end of the tube body 1 of the blood collecting tube which is plugged hermetically with a seal plug 2. The outer diameter expansion part 5 is made of an elastic material and formed in the shape of a thin-walled hollow cylindrical body and an engagement rib 5a engaging resiliently with the outer diameter surface 1b of the tube body of the tube is provided on the inner diameter surface of the part 5, while the outer diameter is set to be a dimension suited for the expression of identification. A plug protecting part 5c covering and protecting the outer peripheral part of the seal plug 2 is provided at the upper end part of the part 5 and an engagement part 5b for positioning which locks downward transfer of the tube body 1 is provided at the lower end part of the plug protecting part 5c, while a cover 8 locking the upward transfer of the tube body 1 is provided at the upper end part thereof.
