<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel drive controller for a hybrid vehicle which can recover the charged state of a battery quickly as much as possible while materializing the favorable acceleration of the car body when starting the car body with the accel operation, even in the case that the charged state of the battery is low. <P>SOLUTION: This drive controller is equipped with an engine 1 and an electric motor 2 which performs power run or regenerative operation, being directly coupled with the engine 1, and in case that the charge state of the battery 4 is lower than the set charge state, this controls the regenerative operation of the electric motor 2 so that it may keep the tendency of the differential value, obtained by subtracting the regenerative torque of the electric motor 2 from the torque of the engine 1, becoming larger the larger the amount of operation of an accelerator is, and that the regenerative torque of the electric motor 2 may be larger the larger the amount of operation of the accelerator is. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
