PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically extract the knowledge of equivalent conversion depending on the human wave attacks of researchers refined in a high level, and to support the creation of socially valid compounds, for example, physiologically active substances. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a process (S1) for inputting chemical structures expressed with graphs, a process (S2) for retrieving the maximum common sectional graph(MCSG) by comparing those chemical structures, a process (S3) for deciding that the original chemical structures are the examples of equivalent conversion or the candidates when the size of the MCSG is a threshold or more and a process (S4) for extracting any sectional structure other than the MCSG in the original chemical structures decided as the examples of the equivalent conversion or the candidates by the process (S3), and makes those sectional structures correspond to each other based on the MCSG to extract differential sectional structures as the rules of the equivalent conversion or the candidates.
