<p>The proposed magnetodynamic device for metering molten metal contains a base structure, a frame, a crucible with a tapping runner that is installed on the frame, a refractory duct for discharging metal, an inductor, and an electromagnet. The frame iscoupled with the base structure by a horizontal shaft, which is fixed to the base structure and passes through the frame at the frame section between the crucible and the tapping runner. The frame can rotate on the said shaft by a driving mechanism containing two tension springs. One end of each spring is fitted to the base structure, and the other end is coupled with the frame by a wire cable passing over a pulley. Each wire cable is fitted to the frame at a point that is arranged, relative to the frame rotation axis, oppositely to the tapping runner.</p> |
