MOTOR SYSTEM WITH OPTICAL ENCODER AND OPTICAL ENCODER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical encoder that makes easier the adjustment of the attached state of a code disk to the rotating shaft of a motor and, at the same time, stabilizes the attached state of the code disk. SOLUTION: A motor system 10 with the optical encoder has the code disk 6 provided with a cylindrical attaching section 4 having a through hole 7 at the center and a disk section 5 extended outward from the attaching section 4 in the radial direction and having a prescribed pattern which transmits light received from the outside in its outer peripheral section and a motor 20 having a rotating shaft 1 inserted into the through hole 7. The rotating shaft 1 of the motor 20 is provided with a first shaft section 2a at one end side and a second shaft section 3 adjoining the section 2a and fixed to the attaching section 4 with an adhesive at one-side opening of the hole 7. The first shaft section 2a has a first outside diameter which is substantially equal to the inside diameter of the through hole 7 and the second shaft section 3 has a second outside diameter which is smaller than the first outside diameter.
