PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear drive actuator, having a small amount of dust generated and excellent torque life. SOLUTION: This linear drive actuator includes: a guide shaft having a ball rolling groove on the outer peripheral surface; a mover having a ball rolling groove on the inner peripheral surface opposite to the ball rolling groove of the guide shaft to thereby form a ball rolling space; a number of balls stored in the ball rolling space to freely roll; and a ball circulating member having a ball circulating path scooping up the ball at one end of the ball rolling space and moving the ball to the other end of the ball rolling space. The device is filled with a grease composition formed by mixing perfluoropolyether whose kinematirc viscosity at 40°C is 20 to 400 mm<SP>2</SP>/s as base oil, with fluorinated carbon resin as a thickening agent, and further adding at least one of fluorinated ether system diamide and fluorinated ether system phosphoric acid.
