PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for an electrolytic capacitor, which is high in uniformity, low in resistance, and excellent in reliability. SOLUTION: The separator used for the electrolytic capacitor is impregnated with a conductive functional high polymer, which serves as an electrolyte and is polymerized, and formed of wet-type nonwoven fabric containing extra fine fibers obtained from split-type composite fibers. By this setup, the separator which is used for the electrolytic capacitor, high in uniformity, has a low resistance, and excellent in reliability can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
