PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garment capable of preventing the fastening of wrong buttons, keeping the joined buttons from separating easily, and hardly affecting medical instruments. SOLUTION: One 12 of the front body pair of this garment has two or more engaging pieces 14A, 14B, or others in line in the overlapping section, while the other 16 of the front body pair has the other type of engaging pieces 18A, 18B or others to be engaged with their respective counterparts, 14A, 14B, or others, at their respective positions corresponding to those of the engaging pieces 14A, 14B, or others. This garment, designed to prevent the fastening of wrong buttons, is provided with a magnet 20 either between the adjoining engaging pieces, 14A, 14B, or others in the overlapping section of one of the front body pair, or between the adjoining engaging pieces, 18A, 18B, or others of the other front body pair. Either one of the front body pair that has no magnet 20 is provided with an adsorptive member 22 to be stuck to the magnet 20 at the position opposite to the magnet 20, in the overlapping section of the front body.
