PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound proofing structure for a refrigerating device capable of saving resources by dispensing with disposal of an exterior panel of standard specification even when sound proofing performance is changed, and easily providing an additional sound proofing panel for reduced noise. SOLUTION: In this sound proofing structure for a refrigerating device, a panel attaching means 9 for additionally providing the sound proofing panel 2 on an outer surface of the exterior panel 1 structuring a box element 6 storing a noise source such as a compressor 5 is provided. The panel attaching means 9 is composed of engaging holes 7 respectively formed on corner portions of a front surface and a side surface of the exterior panel 1, and pins 8 respectively projected on an inner surface of the sound proofing panel 2 and detachably locked to the engaging holes 7.
