BRIGHT DECORATIVE LAMINATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative laminate with brightness, flamboyance and also a sufficient brightness even a pattern paper having a specifically thin and light color tone which are absent from the conventional decorative laminate displaying a metal quality feeling. SOLUTION: A resin impregnated overlay paper impregnated with a resin solution comprising a thermosetting resin is used for an overlay base paper stocked with a bright pigment coated with a metal to the surface of a glass flake. It is laminated along with a resin impregnated pattern paper and a core material, and heat pressure molding is carried out. The average particle size of the bright pigment coated with the metal to the surface of the glass flake is in the range of 10 to 200μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
