PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the interfere of projecting and receiving rays of infrared rays in a toilet facility automatically opening and closing a closet cover and a closet seat by detecting the human body in front of a stool. SOLUTION: In the toilet facility having a first photoelectric type human-body detecting means detecting the sitting state on the closet seat of the human body, a first control means controlling a load in response to an input from the first human-body detecting means, a closet-cover motor driving means and a closet-seat motor driving means rotating the closet cover and the closet seat, a second photoelectric type human-body detecting mean detecting the human body in front of the stool and a second control means controlling the load in response to the input from the second human-body detecting means, the first control means and the second control means conduct transmission and reception for a specified period, and the toilet facility is operated by staggering the operating timing of the ray projecting and receiving of the first human-body detecting means, in which the first control means controls ray projecting and receiving, and the second human-body detecting means in which the second control means controls ray projecting and receiving.
