FOUR DIRECTIONAL OPERATING SWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four directional operating switch used in the input operation of small electronic equipment which is advantageous in respect of space inside the electronic equipment. SOLUTION: By tilting and operating the operating body 35 made of a stick part 36 and a flange 37 that is supported capable of tilting at the center aperture 38A of the cover 38, one of the protrusions 37A-37D provided at the outer circumference of the flange 37 pushes down the top end of each elastic arm 32A-32D extended from each upper part of the four sides of the square shape switch case 21 to the middle point of this side in parallel with the adjoining side, and operates one of individual switches 28A-28D provided at the four corners of the switch case 21 by the pressure parts 33A-33D in the middle of each elastic arm 32A-32D.
