PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head rising/falling control device capable of aiming at further miniaturization of a disk recorder/reproducer. SOLUTION: The magnetic head rising/falling control device is composed of a magnetic head rising and falling between a falling position nearby a disk-shaped recording medium and a rising position remote from the disk-shaped recording medium, a rising/falling control lever for controlling the rising/falling of the magnetic head, a detecting means for detecting a movement position of the rising/falling control lever, a removal operation part for performing removal operation of removing a cartridge housing the disk-shaped recording medium outside the device, and a removal operation part for performing the removal operation of a cartridge housing the disk shaped recording medium outside the device, and a removal operation switching member for coupling with the rising/falling control lever and switching the operability/inoperatility of the removal operation part. The removal operation switching member is driven by movement of the rising/falling control lever and the removal operation part is controlled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
