PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly precisely learn a target angle of a passing range and a stopping range by the changeover of the range in a range changeover device rotating a range changeover shaft by a motor. SOLUTION: When the angle of the range changeover shaft enters in a learned angle region set for every range, this range changeover device starts a detection for finding an angle where the angular velocity of the range changeover shaft treated by a low pass filter shows the peak value. When the learned angle region is the passing range, the detection of the peak generation angle is finished when leaving the learned angle region, however, when being within the learned angle region in the range changeover target range, the detection of the peak generation angle is finished at a time when the angular velocity becomes a prescribed value or less.
