PURPOSE: Provided is a seedling raising pot comprising a thick part which is not absolutely decomposable to support the pot and a thin part which is decomposable for seedling roots to penetrate through it. CONSTITUTION: A seedling raising pot(10) comprises a thick part(TK) which supports a pot skeleton and is not absolutely decomposable until a seedling has transplanted to a growth area and a thin part(TN) which is decomposable due to the growth of seedling roots to allow seedling roots to penetrate through it. The pot contains a biodegradable material selected from cereal bran such as rice bran and bean pod, plant fiber such as cornstalk, reed and rice straw or the like. |
