PURPOSE: A commutator segment and a method for fabricating a commutator using the same are provided to simplify a fabrication process by forming a stopper without using mica or brass section in the fabrication process. CONSTITUTION: A commutator segment(20) includes a stopper(22) and an insertion groove(21). The stopper(22) is formed on a bottom face of the commutator segment(20) having a rectangular shape. The insertion groove(21) having the predetermined space is formed on an upper side of the commutator segment(20). The insertion groove(21) is formed on both sides of the commutator segment(20). An upper part of the insertion groove(21) is opened to a longitudinal direction of the commutator segment(20).
