<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel improved biodegradable, thermally shrinkable film for labels. <P>SOLUTION: This biodegradable, thermally shrinkable film is prepared by substantially, transversely monoaxially stretching a biodegradable polyester resin having aromatic groups in the main chain and a second order transition point of 50-70°C. When the stretching by 4-6 times is carried out, the tensile elongation in the machine direction is 200% or higher; the shrinkage factor in the machine direction after the immersion in 80°C hot water for 10 sec is 35% or higher; and the shrinkage factor in the transverse direction after left standing in 40°C air for 7 days is 3% or lower. This film is printed, formed into a cylinder, and fitted to a cylindrical container at a stroke by thermal shrinkage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
