PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording medium having a sheet power strength for various severe conditions and adapted for a distribution managing applications. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording medium uses crepe or Clupak sheet as a support and provides a thermal recording layer on the support or sequentially provides a thermal recording layer and a protective layer on the support. As the support, it is preferable to use a sheet having a basis weight of 40-200g/m<2>, a longitudinal tensile strength (JIS P8113) of 4kgf/15mm or more, a longitudinal elongation (JIS P8132) of 6% or more, a lateral tear strength (JIS P8116) or 70gf or more and whiteness (JIS P8123) of 70% or more, and it is preferable to adhere it in the case of weighing of the support of 40-90g/m<2> to provide an adhesive label or an adhesive tag. |
