PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for washing soil contaminated with oil and equipment for washing contamination oil which enable the secure separation into the cleaned soil and the waste oil by washing the soil contaminated with oil and can achieve the cost reduction and the prevention of secondary contamination by appropriately treating each of the cleaned soil and the waste oil. SOLUTION: The equipment 1 for washing contamination oil is composed of a washing vessel 2 into which the soil contaminated with oil and washing water are charged, an oil vessel 3 which is adjacent to the washing vessel, allows the height of a vessel wall 6 to be set lower than the height of the washing vessel and causes an oil layer 9 formed by the floated contamination oil 10 to overflow and a treatment device which removes mud water in the washing vessel and the oil vessel outside the vessel. Therein, the washing vessel and the oil vessel are constructed on the site where the soil contaminated with oil exists. The oil content is separated from the soil contaminated with oil by the treatment using the treatment device and, thereby, the cost reduction and the prevention of secondary contamination is achieved.
